I'm actually working on a suite of icons for OD+ and packager called 'Real' that are all modelled and rendered in 3D by yours truly. I'm going for the most realistic images I can. Check out https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29&SkinID=4836 for an example of how they are going to look (this trash bin isn't my work, but similar to the 3D realism I'm going for)

Thx for reply - I've never used newsgroups before. How do I get to them? I know you can do it with outlook express but don't know the first bit about how they work.
I used litestep for a bit - was kinda cool, but a LOT of effort. I built my own theme, but it's not so much for eye candy which is what I use these programs for really.
Hi again. Since my objectdock plus posts aren't really getting answered here, where is the official bug report site/feature request site? Anyone know?
I completely agree with both suggestions. I'm a big fan of Objectdock and I'm using it instead of my desktopx theme that I made for a taskbar, systray, meters, program launcher replacement. I look at the updates and it seems to just be one icon at a time, which is great but they should be in a seperate category like you say. Anything to clean it up a bit would be good.
Please can I have an invite AMA!!??? This goes for anyone else that may have one too! I've been after one for ages. Maybe I could trade you something in return. My Email is [email protected] Thanks
I've got 4 docks...although I haven't customized much yet. Got a standard dock at the bottom, the standard plus dock at the top (for launching programs), A single tab systray dock and a shutdown dock on the sides. I fully recommend having OD plus - it's well good, apart from this issue. Your idea of having the dock background span the screen is a great idea....means you could make a dock that frames the whole screen, could look well ace. I hope stardock change these 2 sim
Hi, I love Objectdock Plus! It's ace! Only problem I have is that I want to limit the work area (ie. the area that a maximized window takes up) so that nothing in the window is obstructed. I've tried limiting the work area in Desktop X (Which I don't really want to run anyway) but this just brings the docks in to that work area limit as well. I can't be the only one that finds it annoying to have my windows obstructed by OD plus??? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
Like you can with Desktop X, that I don't want to run anymore, but I don't want the tabs in objectdock plus taking over my windows. I'm gonna make a skin for windowblinds eventually that has cutaways for the tabs in objectdock, but in the meantime it would be good to have a mini app or even better have the feature built into od plus!
I like this 'embedding' of DX objects idea, but why not put it into OD plus too/instead?? I've never really seen the point of Objectbar, what does it really add to the desktop? OD in comparison is slick, different and fun. Why not combine the functionality of both softwares? I experimented with DX 2.1 many years after my first dabble in it and it still has loads of problems in it, z-order being one of the main ones - why not have numbered layer orders like in litestep? It also crashes an
