I guess I'm sort of in the right forum here, is anyone able to tell me of point me in the direction of info if it's possible to run windows messenger within a closed office group with a windows(exchange) server acting as messengers sign in point?
Aquamonkey
Maybe their will be something in it to make it worthwhile upgrading from XP. UNLIKE VISTA
I think I'll stick with XP I still haven't been given a good reason to upgrade
Looks interesting, but should come out in DEMO form before paying $9.95 Agree, their should be a demo that is fully interactive for 10 minutes or something like that
PC gamming died for me when they ceased Wing Commander! As far as gaming in general goes, you can stare at the side of the box to see where you are between minimum and recommended specs, go home boot the PC and install the game or just pic up an Xbox game and throw it in the console....
Vista is still yet to impress me
I work for a software company that only employes 'graphically challenged' programmers, once they get a program built I go through and make some adjustments. I have run all .exe's through reshack and updated the icon resources, but it doesn't produce the same result with .dll's. Whenever the screen that runns through a dll is displayed it still displays a default Windows program icon (white box with blue titlebar). What can I use to update the dll to di
What is the skin shown in the screen shot? "IE 7 now looks good", that is one MAJOR acheivement
Yeah, Apple praises itself again for something that is available since a long time now... Apple fans are already claiming they invented multi button mice <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.
They changed the name after all that has been made with the Longhorn Logo? It should have been well known Longhorn was just a code name in the same way Whistler was the codename for XP
Why bother with Longhorn, MS has spent 4 years building a big patch for XP
I like it!!
I agree with Attila's comments. I have ODNT and would like to see OD+ as part of it, however if there is a trial version of it and I find it good to use I'll probably pay this small amount for it. On the other side I use Tab Launchpad on ODNT and it does a great job, it just doesn't look as flashy as OD+ in tabbed view.
I think System restore is a very cutdown version of GOback just like XP's CD writing capability is a cutdown of Roxio's own product
Yup and every new version of Windows is the biggest thing since '95 too. ummmm NO not really XP has been the only major release since 95. Example, did anyone blink when ME was released??
I'm sure when 10.4 comes out they'll be singing "best ever" all over again. I'll stick with XP thanks
I'm glad they've got a few years to work on it given how bad that interface is!!!
If macs look so cool go out and buy one, I can't stand this crap of making a PC look like a mac.
I wouldn't take much notice of many of the posters on NeoWin these days (Look at p5 of that thread, it's not really possible to understand what their saying anyway). As for the site itself I think they've lost a lot of their (IT)professional browsers due to not being able to keep their site running over the last few monthes.
I'm wondering if there are (macromedia) fireworks icons, since flash/dreamweaver/freehand are shown?
goodmorphing's source is a little off, IE7 is planned thought it will probably be the last version
pity, but it's not like it's the first time!!
I've been running with 2773 for a while, big improvement over 7, but not much when compare to 8 (MPXP)
Complete waste of time! Mac lover cr@p Xp doesn't include a webserver. mmm yeah OK
I'm going to try and shoot everyone who decides to make OSX skins, icons, wallpapers, etc
