I quit using Google when they banned freedom off their list in China, and started recording info on everyone who uses their search features on their own servers. I use any of several other search engines.
Sorry to ask a another site, but I understand many here also use both sites. I recently signed up with Lotsofskins and for some reason it has never sent me the confirmation email the site requires to join. I have repeatedly checked the spam filter and trash bin at Yahoo (my email) and the letter simply never came. I have since requested a second letter and it has not arrived either. I'm wondering if they are having a problem with Yahoo or vis versa? <
Is there some problem with using WB5 and skins created for earlier versions of WB? I've been trying to load my favorite skin Kaki2 by Brewman and the minute I click on it in the available loaded skins list WB 5 shuts down. No error message just instant shutdown. It seems to work sort of with kaki2 basic but any of the sub versions shut WB down hard. Is there a solution known for this? I like that skin and use it all the time. I searched the forum

I just upgraded to WB5 this week and I'm also frustrated with the difficulty of changing background colors. I prefer a darker background on my desktop than many skins have but I can't even find a good way to change the background color now. Has anyone considered creating a concise set of directions on how to use the program and how to customize it to your needs? Something that doesn't require programing skills? I use Corel Painter IX. When WB is installed I can not use the Upper right corner close or minimize buttons at all. On neither the program or any graphic open in the program. I can use file/close but no minimize at all. That gets very annoying not to mention slows production time. I've tried several different skins and it makes no difference which I load up or by who. A while ago I had downloaded a very pretty icon set called Sketch (I think that's the whole name) It looked like artist line drawings of icons. But I had hard drive problems and lost a ton of data, the set included and I had not yet backed the set up to CD. Now I can't find where I downloaded it from. Has anyone ever heard of this icon set and if so, can they post a link to where to find it? Thanks!

Icon Packager has me pulling my hair out. It's been At Random, switching my icons around, in a package I'm trying to create. Loseing icon's instead of loading them into the theme. It has also changed my shortcut icons on my desktop to randomly selected icons out of any library/theme I happen to have loaded. I've used the rebuild command. Ah Well Snowman thanks anyway, I tried that and just ruined the whole design, so I gave up and created my own wall. I don't like a windows looking desktop (if I did, I wouldn't have bought Windowbinds ) I prefer one that is an extention of my desk. When I can figure out how to upload here I'll post it.

My husband and I have twin comps set up exactly the same, behind a hardware firewall. He installed SP2 I didn't. Guess who has spent this entire weekend digging SP2 out of his machine?
