I restored my game from a backup archive 1.2 patched. The game 'works' but all my resolutions aren't detected, for instance my resolution is 1920x1200 but the game will only run in 1280x1024 without any AA. In windows that works, but I guess it's a matter of figuring out where it goes wrong and then write a patch for it. Some debugging is needed.

I agree, this game is special because it cater to the 4x audience, who are patient and like to get that epic feel in their games. These kind of games must take a long time, because part of what makes it epic is that it takes time to get something done and plan your empire's every expansion or offensive against your enemy. Had it been C&C 3 in space I would've hated it as much as I hate C&C 3 for it's quick gameplay and catering to the console audience who typically wants instant gratifi
In the beta you could always see how many labs you've built, don't know why they removed that as it was very usefull.

So what do you do if you've bought the digital download ce but then also want the box? I sent a mail to sales at stardock.com but I was only told that when the game was available options for buying the ce would be provided through stardock.com...what? the game is available and I've bought it. So what do I do? where do I pay the difference between the two and the shipping cost without paying the full amount once more.
