Ok, the max for my computer is 512 MB. I have 256 MB installed now in 2 DDRs. So, I'd have to take out one, and add the 256 MB one that I will buy. So that's a little over 300 MB of RAM. An upgrade from 256 to about 300 MB wouldn't show a significant speed-change in the CPU, or would it?

Since your system is probably 3 or 4 years old, I'll bet enough RAM to fill your system up is fairly cheap ! (perhaps on the order of $100 or so ???). I have 256 MB of RAM. The computer generally runs slow, and programs that use normally about 20 percent of my CPU crash. And how do you overclock your CPU and what does it do? Thanks for your help, peoples.
