There's a KDE-inspired theme by Dangeruss for Hoverdesk, and I believe it's also been ported to DX or OB. And here's a handful of excellent KDE WB skins scattered around here.

The comments on the skin in questions says something about the person taking 2 skins and combining them into one (or words to that effect), so looks like Glen's skin has been used. Obviously there's the fact of XP gfx being MS copyright, but Glen did take time to arrange and layout the pieces for the Dashboard skin, and so his point is valid.

I run Microangelo 5, Windowblinds and Icon Packager 2 together with no problems. I use Microangelo to set my icon fonts, text colours and icon spacing, so it loads up the 'on display' program at startup. But nope, never had any conflicts with it. What are the symptoms you're experiencing that's causing the problems?

Most skinners work to create skins for themselves, and generally try to make time, by fitting it around other things, like their job and family life. It's generally ok if you make a very(Extrememly) polite request for a skin you'd like to see(Sometimes someone will be willing to assist), but requesting a big list of skins is fairly bad form. I've never understood the fascination with trying to define what 'art' is. Everyone has a different perspective on it. Some guy paints a beautiful abstract painting of his interpretation of the universe. Is it art? He would think so. Some other fella decides to take a crap on a plate, and sell it for 200 grand. Is it art? He would think so. Besides, during all that wasted time spent defining what it all means, think how many 'pieces of work' the 2nd guy has sold...

No offence intended, but you're not really making a lot of sense here. Icons on the desktop? If you're not seeing any on yours, then you probably have active desktop enabled and it's set to hide the icons. As for the original start menu, I assume you're using XP? If so, then I believe there's an option to go back to the classic style 98/2K start menu (Although I'd ask why you'd want to?).

Polymer was from Treetog and Dangeruss, working as 'The Skindicate', and Micron was indeed by Dangeruss. Treetog has been adding XP features to quite a few of his olders works lately, so perhaps an update of Polymer is planned.
