Sorry Jafo, I just reversed into your car....

I used to love using Neoplanet, and swore by it untill they added that bizarre search feature thingy, that loaded on startup and you couldn't close it. I'm feeling nostalgic now, maybe I'll download it again for old times sake.
Surely if you replace the GUI with LS, HvD , DX, etc, then they become the GUI? (After all, the user is using that program to interface with Windows)
Only problems I ever encountered was with Quicknotes, and it's bizarre way of not actaully showing the correct bg colour that you specify in the ini file on various occasions.
Zanshin, skinners are NOT here to provide a sevice to people, they merely upload stuff they've made for themselves. If a skinner supports a resolution he/she doesn't use, in one of their themes, then you should be grateful, and not expect them to automatically have to do it for every theme. If it's that much of a problem for you, get a graphics prog and start making your own themes at larger res'.
While we're on the subject, does anyone have a current e-mail adress for Dimitry, who created the skins? I need to contact him about something.
Wouldn't matter, most of us are deprived anyway.......
Although I haven't paid for ODNT, I have two years of subscription, one from Brad for a favour I did, and another from the Gui Olympics prize, when those two years are up, I can certainly say I WILL be renewing my subscription. The variety of apps included within it, are of such good quality and functionality, that it justifies the price. Before I started using OD, I would have bought it merely from a skinners point of view - Some great apps, that I could customize with my own style. <b
/me halts bashing two rocks together and looks up at Boxxi's shiny hammer. UGG UGG!!
I'd just like to note, regarding Koop's post, that you'll never hear a Taxi driver say "Right-o, guv'nor, off to the Firth of Forth", unless they redirect the river into East London(Although then it'd be more like 'fowf' than 'forth')......... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.gi
Create a new object, then in it's properties settings(From right-click), set it as the systray, from the drop down menu. Phew, I'm out of breath after all that....
I'd just like add another option to Chris' list: 4.Shut the hell up, freak. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/s
Yeah, I was in the shower one day, and it just dropped right off. Was quite a shock......
I was a mIRC user and I switched over to Bersirc to try it out, and haven't went back since: http://www.bersirc.net
Dangeruss did a small suite of it, although it's never been released. Not sure, but the screenshot may still be on his site.
Now there's a name I haven't seen in a while, Kinrik. I remember you from the old days.
At the risk of sounding rude(Not my intention), have you actually bothered to look at the helpfiles that come with DX? Everything you need is in there.
It's the hamster. If you fed it more often, it would run faster inside it's wheel.....
I too would like Sheryl Crow. I have only 2 days to live. Please help.
From this day forth, I shall be known as HippyXP. Thank You. *bows*
The desktop text isn't actually changable as such. What happens is that depending on the bg colour set for the desktop, Windows changes the text colour accordingly. i.e. If you have a dark desktop, the text is white, and if you have a light desktop, it's dark, so the text remains legible.
Depends on what program the theme is for.
The 'Dream' stuff by Dangeruss is always good for brightening things up.
Nope, never had that one installed.
My site is currently being rebuilt because, well frankly, it was shit. If anyone cares, keep an eye here for 'not shit' V2(All in sweet shiny PHP): http://gfx4d.hoverdesk.net
