Wow. After getting two degrees that were useless (math and biochemistry) I might not have learned that. So I needed to be told. Thanks.
Miss Trouble
Let me start by saying that when I was young I was a goody two shoes. I never even got a detention. EVER. So when I got called to work in In School Suspension (ISS) today, I had NO clue as to what to expect. I was led down to a windowless room with five studens, some of whom I recognized from previous jobs. All were sitting silently (a requirement, as I later learned)
Just how honest should we be with the people we become emotionally involved with? I, by nature, am a compulsive sharer- I will put everything out on the table, good or bad. My friends accept the bad (whoof. At times it seems like a LOT of bad) and the good. the people that chose NOT to be my friends evidently saw something that they just couldn't stand. That's how it
Once again, I'm astounded by Brad Wardell's insight into a matter that few have the guts to discuss with passion. Perhaps a few of those spewing the notion that the US is truly the world's bully are merely uninformed?
I'm not called to work today and thus get to sleep in until 10. Weather in Khost is 83 F and cloudy (like LA in the morning. Ugh). Didn't even know you could get Afghani weather on Wunderground.com. There's my something new for today, hmmm? Br
So here I am, a "twenty-something" with a college education and tons of energy. As everyone knows, going to college will guarantee you a bright future, right? Um......maybe in the early eighties. Two degrees and I'm just treading water until I can get into a Master's program that will prepare me for an underpaid job that I'll enjoy. At least my dog thinks I'm great.<!-- Ju-Anchor-F
