I can relate Masterlock....on the 22 of June, 2 days before taking vacation & leaving my home province of Nova Scotia, I noticed many of the icons in my Widgets folder were mostly coming up with the "Accessability" or Handicapped icon...tried to do a simple change the icon function with the latest release of Icon Packager & ended up locking ALL my system icons onto the one I switched in my Object Desktop Widget folder. nice thought Brad.....good of you to think of & extend those wishes to all the Mother's of the world.....weather wise, here on the North Eastern Atlantic Seaboard of Canada in Nova Scotia, it has been a wretched 24 hrs with pounding rain & high winds...hopefully Mom's today get their sunshine inside with their collective gathered families
Yes, the software is superb, works well most of the time, is a definite enhancement to Windows for customization & because of what Object Desktop, Icon Packager & Windowblinds can do I bought it all....BUT there are hassles in dealing with WinCustomize & Stardock as well......the submission process for a simple screenshot can be degrading & variable at best....case in point is an update I did last night about 2am Atlantic time for "My Laptop" screensho
this is an unbelievable misuse of "feedback" on this site from a 25 yr old man toward an exceptionally talented 14 yr old adolescent who has shown remarkable restraint & good form for such outright abuse.....this situation needs to be remedied & quickly,,,,shocking it has gone this far....keep up the visionary work Hustler...to have an oevre like this at your age shows incredible ability & promise....it would appear your attacker is exhibiting a sour g
Go Kona & Journeyman! Tell It! & Goob.....thx for the Dr. King speech....very timely
Hey MorghainenCorae; Thx Dude! very kind of you to say....hey, ya know, its Artzine Sites like this that allow us to distract ourselves with creativity & sharing from the madding world outside our doors
Hey Essencay : Excellent point but I can definitely feel a great deal of pain in MorghainenCorae, but yeah, all the posts all of you have been contributing are greatly appreciated for the support expressed, & the differing perspectives in this increasingly socially complex but diminished Global Village we all collectively call home
exactly Goob....superb point...& believe me the New Yorkers have raised the same point, not to mention Indians....this "Parody" has been picked up by the wire services & has caused hurt & outrage in Europe, the Far East & Asia...you should have read an editorial this week in The Times of India....the contributor raised the same points you just did...pleased we are in common accord...sorry for the misunderstanding...thx for contributing
Diafragma: dude your Jan desktop gives new meaning to "slick".....incredible arrangement, textures, color value, icons
thx for weighing in Goob....I remember well that incident about a year ago in Alabama whereby that statue with the 10 commandments had to be removed....your laws don't seem to be applied correctly to correct actions...that statue should have remained....Miss Thing in NY needs to removed permanantly from her current post & I am sure market & social pressure would make any other broadcaster not look favorably on her as a suitable personality for the airw
exactly Jux....glad you feel the same as I
hey Kona....thx for weighing in....in every other country but yours an FCC intervention would be in order & suitable for this social outrage BUT yeah. you have to deal with the increasingly rabid Neo Conservatives...& they ARE s c a r y .....when they want Sponge Bob Square Pants removed from the public domain, ya know those people aren't operating with all 4 piano legs, so yeah, with the complex social strata you guys are dealing with, the Market is
actually Dude, the more I think of it, with the social pressures in your country at this time, yeah, market pressure brought on by community outrage will probably bring that station to its knees....suspending the uneducated sociopathic hostess indefinetly & contributing her & her suspended staff's wages toward the Tsunami fund is insulting & angering the collective community in New York as well as overseas, but closer to home, long term economics with
Hey MorghainenCorae: Thx for taking the time to sit down & post a thoughtful dissertation of your view of free speech.....& yes, I can see your point of view what with the ever increasing rabid power of the Neo Conservatives in your country, & yes, they scare us here in Canada seeing & hearing their diatribes in the media....but let me reiterate a point I made wirh Kona, which is: Your point is absolutely valid....it is a fine line betwee
tell it CL!.....you ARE a cool lady
Hey Journeyman: Thx for taking the time to read my post & contributing
Hey Essencay: Thx for taking the time consider this post & contributing
hey Joe...thx for taking an interest in this sad episode...appreciate your taking the time to contribute
thx CL....you are correct to point out that this sad incident was caused by uneducated sociopathic trash....I know most Americans are hard working, decent, kind hearted souls with a core of decency....believe me. we have had similar in Canada with Nazi sympathizers & red neck inbreds attacking our French Canadians...& Bravo! honey for sending e-mails to the Advertisers & Management of Emmis Communications....it breaks my heart to read the comments in t
Jesus....this is a bumper crop day for issues that are rooted in common sense being cast to the wind....we have the same draconian laws here as well....the non-smoking lobby is getting more rabid with each passing day to say the least...when one cannot walk down a tree lined street next to a park on the way to shop in a neighbourhood, or better yet, IN THE PARK, cannot sit on a bench in the sun pondering the statuary, trees & abundance of exotic hortic
Hey Kona: Your point is absolutely valid....it is a fine line between censorship & regulation, BUT in this case the collective value system of the community was offended, SO, it would seem your FCC should step in & evaluate a broadcaster that offends the community standard for decency, much like our Canadian Regulatory Television Commission did with a recent case in one of our provinces....we Canadians are as outspoken as our fellow Americans,
Hey Paxx: Thx for your contribution.....I remember that situation in Quebec this fall very well, & yes, there was the typical agonizings about free speech, but in the wash, it was concluded that it wasn't really "free speech" as in a valid & balanced debate of ideas & ideals, but rather, a piss & vinegar rot of "Hate Propaganda", which in the letter of the law is not deemed in the best interest of the community, which is what common law is bas
excellent point CL....thx for responding
