Ok, found it. I have a driver for a spacemouse (3D input device for CAD) installed that has also installed a joystick emulator. https://www.3dconnexion.com The device isn't actually connected at the moment, but the driver seems to send movement data anyway. So it is not a bug on your side.
After killing nearly every running application using the taskmanager the problem went away. So some application seems to cause this. I am trying to find the app thats causing this now.
Yes, i have a wireless XBox controller plugged in, but unplugging the USB receiver did not change anything.
Just installed VGM and wanted to give it a try but it behaves like the key to move left is always pressed. The player instantly runs to the left, the mouse is jumping to the center and in some menus the selection moves on its own. Keyboard works fine outside of VGM. Very confusing.
