LogonStudio - Won't load selected logon

Hi all,

Yesterday I bought and installed almost the entire Stardock list of software, and also got the Bootskin and LogonSuite. They look great, in theory, because I can't get my logon to actually load while logging on. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I open the program, select a couple to load at random (I did manage to load them into the selection menu and preview them) then I click apply and exit the progam. I've rebooted several times, but all that apears is my normal logon.

Now, I do logon to a domain controler (in other words, I'm on a network) does this affect it and could this be why it won't load?

How does your normal logon-screen usually look like? Does it look like the standard WinXP logon-screen or do you get that unskinned box similar to what it was in WinNT/2000?

If the latter is the case; yes, the WinXP logon-screen and hence Logonstudion will not be showed during the startup process, and unfortunately you won't be able to see the skinned Login-screens.

I do have the "skinned" WinXP logon screen, but whatever I try, it won't go to the logon skin.

Maybe it's also worth mentioning that it's also not adapting to my current Windowblinds on it's Windowtheme, maybe that helps I dunno.

What do you mean with that? Does Windowblinds work at all? Or do you mean that you can't load any Windowblinds either.

Did you install the apps from an administrator account? I am not sure whether it works if installed from a limited user account (haven't tried it).

"Fast using switching": This isn't possible (afaik) once on a domain, this only works on a single workstation. I'm on a domain and therefor don't have this option.

What I meant when I said it doesn't adapt my logon window is: I'm not even sure if it SHOULD load a Windowblind before actually logging on to Windows but if it should, it's not.I also have admin rights on my own workstation, no worries. Windowblinds works perfectly and looks wonderful. The only thing I've not figured out is why the LogonSuite won't load it's theme/skin.

If fast-use switching isn't possible (sorry I nodded off reading others threads at the same time) then I don't think LogonStudio will work for you.

it should not load before you logon to windows.

Alright scorpio-logic, I suppose I better give up on it then. Thanks for your help Too bad though, they should make a network version!
