MCPServer problem

When my pc boots, it hangs just after logging in and drawing the background image, but before displaying the Start Menu and Taskbar. If I ctrl-alt-del and kill sdmcp.exe, windows will then continue booting normally. This started after installing Stardock Central, but before installing any components of Object Desktop. Has anyone experienced something like this before?

Reinstall http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdcentral_setup.exe right over top the one you have installed

It still does the same thing, although now my wallpaper is not displayed, the start menu/taskbar starts to draw over the top of the login screen, but the login/boot process stops until I kill the MCPserver process. I also installed windows blinds and theme manager to see if they would solve the issue, but that didn't help. XP SP2, geforce 6600gt pcie, intel d915pbl, and startup programs include trillian, konfabulator, ms antispyware, avg 7, daemon tools 3.7, and ZBoard.com's keyboard configuration software. Will try disabling all 3'rd party software, but won't be back online until 10pm PST (GMT-8)

All right, got it working fine now. After reinstalling over the top a third time, and updating to the latest version, the bootup problem has gone away. Not sure why it happened to begin with, but thank you for your help, Yraq!
