A few people have figured out that you can go to www.wincustomize.com and create an avatar that will show up on this site. It is actually a code bug that the programmers have left. If it is abused, it will go away, however.
With that, I need to remind people that you are actually uploading to wincustomize. With that, you are doing so under the terms of Wincustomize. One of the terms of use states: "(a) upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;". It also states: "Stardock and its designees shall have the right to remove any Content that violates the TOS or is otherwise objectionable."
Avatars are moderated by Wincustomize. If you use an avatar that could be considered "hateful", Wincustomize moderators and admins have the right to request its removal or remove it. If you abuse the avatars, you will be banned from Wincustomize and will no longer have access to it. Wincustomize has high standard of conduct (much higher than JU), so please keep that in mind when uploading an avatar.
Inserted from JU according to my browser which is currently quite tricky even if loggin in + out in right combinations and closing + reentering and I wont worry about because I am quite busy on several sites including enjoyment necessary for further (hobby) work and paid a lot for a computer and tools to enjoy avatars and such not to find that does not work on the very tool support channels for those tools themselves. Pull an avatar or comment, que pasa. Close site - what a reward for hard work incl. mistakes not always that intentional. Had to cope with issues and learning and paying in beginning. Evvy1 else having fun, sometimes at my cost, If I do that, what a No No. Be glad to adjust to new rules, they sure are not here yet now. Spent much time in vain tracking and collecting destructive or phony IDs and reporting. Course I know its hard to keep everything perfect, for you + me, who is an angel round here, the majority? Me? Look forward to changes, as long as creative work is still possible, which I cant even all do here, after 5 submit turndown which I understand, was forced to spend more time + money going elsewhere in addition to here. Still grateful for what I can learn, not just my fault If Im switched down to read only because of something like this.
