Need help with logons

Hi there! I have a problem with LogonStudio and seeking for help. The thing is that i make a wonderful login screen, with the account box and everything... it works just fine... but when i power on my machine, after my bootskin showing up... the background of my login screen shows up (as it should) but IT SHOWS NO "Welcome" message... and later on, when I shut my PC down, it shows the same background again, but with no "Shutting down, Clossing session" messages... My system is in Spanish... Is this supposed to happen? Am i losing something here? I want those messages to appear, i like them!

Well, thanks in advance! I'll wait for your replies.

Please, can somebody help me out with this? I just want to know if all logons have this problem (not displaying OS messages) or else how to make it work. Thanks!

thats because Logon Studio (for some reason) doesnt actually allow you to see it.
all of my logons show what you want to appear; youll need to check out the UIFILE.txt. ive left comments where those bits are and what you need to change to make them show.
from memory, logonstudio makes the width of the Welcome message, and the "Windows is shutting down, etc" text to be 0, so it doesnt show up.

Cooooool! Thaks Archangel_Douglas. So, now i know where the problem is (uifile.txt) but... I look at the file and don't know where to start, can anyone give me a hand with that? I've just read in another topic that you have made a Doom3 logon with its uifile.txt heavily commented, where can I get that file from?

yeah, i apologise in advance if the comments are a bit hard to understand.. ive been planning on making a tutorial, but things got really busy in the last few months.
effectively, youve got to play around with the width values to make sure that the whole message(s) appears.
then fart around with positioning them..

Which means many reboots to see how it is looking, but when you get the hang of it can get it done with 2 or 3 reboots.

yeah, thats the prob. with mucking around with the Welcome and/or shut down text; you can only really see it when you log in/out.
even if you dont shut down to do that, you still have to close everything to log out (and ive usually got half a dozen things open at the time, including Photoshop).
