Game crashes

i've tried playing this game twice in 10 minutes and t keeps crashing. the first time was when i tried to explore an anomonly that looked like a blue sphere and the second time was when i tried to colonize a planet using 5000 settlers. just to let you guys know. Also the screen scrolls really slow when moving the cursor on the map. is there any way to speed it up on the scrolling of the main map? has anyone else had these same troubles?

Hi,

I also have crashes (what file to provide to ease up the bugfixing ?). And I confirm the slooow scrolling but I think the configuration of this will be in the Setup tab of the Options later on.

The game is in a very early state and crashes will be common. Please install SmartException from Link

And send the resultant CRA file and the debug.err file from your GalCiv2 root directory to [email protected] along with as much description regarding what was happening, in game, as possible when the crash occured.

Ok, thanks. I will do it for every crashes. And yes, don't worry, we know crashes are common in such early state. That's why we're testing ! For GalCiv2 to be the perfect game

If you mean the edge scrolling, not currently.  I didn't have time to put in an option to change the speed.
