A few problems

First some specs P3/600 160meg Radeon 8500 XP at 1024-768 on a 19" CRT. Everything ran good but got dumped out when trying to delete an autosaved game. Ships would not move on autopilot and no sound. In Galciv2 can you move the map screen by hitting a side with the mouse as in Galciv1? The interface for stardock needs improvement I spent more time finally getting Galciv2 on my list so I could download it then I did playing the Beta the first time when I got it !! I've bought more memory 256meg but I'll play the Beta several more times before installing it then see what the increased memory does to performence. Oh I just love using the scroll wheel to zoom in and out Lord Ra

no sound. In Galciv2 can you move the map screen by hitting a side with the mouse as in Galciv1?


For sound, be sure to get the "Multimedia Pack" which should appear just below the GC@ Beta in Stardock Central. It includes a few animations, as well as (very good) background music and some sound effects.

Screen-edge scrolling has been mentioned, and it should be in soon (for now, click and drag on the main map or mini map)...
