Beta Report forum

Hello everyone

from GalCiv2 Forums

At the top of the forums there is a new tab called "Beta Reports".

Stardock.net forums are a little bit different from your typical quickie-BBS forums you see on most sites. The top-most forum contains all the newest info from each sub-forum.  So if you want to get into a specific forum, you can click on a particular sub-topic and discuss just that.

For making beta reports, make sure your post goes into the category:GalCiv II discussion with the topic: Beta Reports.

Brad, this forum could really use some kind of organisation.
Why don't you create a topped thread for each screen you want feedback on? And a separate crash thread? People can still create new threads but the way it is now, it's a bit of a problem for the casual gamer to find out whether someone else talked about the same thing. For instance, I think the 'Choose opponent' screen is bad, and don't understand at first glance how I can pick my opponents and the number of them. I can change the number but that's about all I understood. A topped 'Choose opponent' thread would be nice if you're interested in feedback on this screen in particular. It would also make it even more obvious which area of the game most needs feedback/testing.

When a planet builds a ship, it doesn't come up in the list of ships orbiting the planet...
Once I also got the classic shield on the planet but nothing orbiting.

Cari has posted on this. The ship is in orbit but the orbit icons are not appearing. Just click each empty orbit bos and then click launch! It's probably int he top right one.
