When I was 12 my Gran and Grandad gave me a sixpence each a week pocket money. That's One Shilling, or 5p current... (about 10c USD)

There are things you can do without money. There is a free version of WindowBlinds, some features are disabled, but then you don't get everything for nothing. There's a free version of CursorXP. Bootskin and Logonstudio are free. For creating graphics The GIMP is free.

Mow lawns, shovel walks, garden work, raking leaves, delivering papers. I've done them all, made good money doin them too. I'd suggest that you try some experimentation with workin odd jobs, and see how that goes for ya.

Yeah... I read something on the forums the other day just after I posted this:

Q: I can't afford to buy stuff, how can I contribute?

A: There are many ways to contribute to the WinCustomize community. You can make skins, themes, icons, wallpapers and upload them and gain the access of Apprentice (or higher access) which provides unlimited downloads, a personal page, and other benefits. Or you can help out in the forums with new users and help spread the word of skinning throughout the world.

I just make bootskins, but I'm not like... Great at it I don't think. o.o

Well, another way to make some xtra cash is to collect "recycables" Aluminum, Soda Bottles, etc..etc.. Some people actually survive by doing this (it's really a sad thing..but)
I have heard that some people actually make pretty good money doing it, a hundred bucks or more with each visit to a recycling facility..

I used to save up the soda bottles when I was a kid and return them for "Pinball" money and gas for my go carts and mini bikes..

Anyway, thats just another option
Zero.

That won't work if you live in the UK. For some reason they don't give you money back on bottles and such.

Back to Azirenithix: Does people in you neighbourhood have dogs? You could walk them for a little fee. BRings you money and excersise.

This is only a question of prirorities, -at least where I live, regardless if you're a kid or not. Windowblinds OR a Wincustomize subscription cost $19.95. That's two big meals at MacDonalds and cheaper than a pizza delivered at the door (where I live). Make a deal with your parents, - fast-food isn't good for you anyway.

First don't neglect school work. Do your daily chores without any excuses. If you don't get an alloweace ask your folks to CONSIDER one. Advertise by putting up notices around your neighborhood that you'll do yard work or walk critters. You may even consider inside jobs like dusting or hoovering. If you live in the countryside well.......you'd be working by now so never mind on that one. Now if only I could get my grandkiddies to take that kind of advice I'd be in hog heaven.

My 12 year old son (13 next week)umpires little league games. He can make anywhere form $15 to $40 per game. Of course youcan guess who gets to drive him to the games.
Don't know if that's an option where you are, but it's pretty good money for for the hours.
