Hi Night Train! What's a throbber?

a "throbber" is the animated graphic that appears in the upper right corner of most web browsers

I prefer to keep it. After all, it's status indicator on connecting and downloading stuff for web pages, etc.

Yes, but you can also turn off the throbber in Windows Explorer, which serves no purpose at all.

I have WB 4.51 ( build 192 ) registered version, have never had any skin with throbber apply it even after reboot.
If go into Tweak UI select custom then apply most do not work properly. SkinStudio calls it unsupported.
Running Windows XP SP2.

Danillo, no direspect to skinners that make them. I make them myself but have had my throbber turned off for a long time now so I can't even see the ones I make in action. Its just a cleaner look without it. With skins that have a good throbber it is a nice feature. Thats where this little proggy works so well because it only takes 10 seconds to turn the throbber back on.

XX, good point but windows has many reduntant features. The throbber is one of them. I have gotten used to watching the progress bar since I have no throbber. Its all preference I guess.
