Control Center problems

CC will not start and/or CPU meter no longer works

We are running Object Desktop with all current updates to Control Center. CC recently will not start, regardless of uninstall/reinstall. If it does start, the CPU meter also does not work and sucks 100% of CPU cycles. Any ideas?
