Bug Reports for 1.13

Bug Reports for 1.13

Please post bug reports here for version 1.13.

If you are asked to send a save game, I will need both the .sav file and the folder with the same name.  Zipping them usually works best.

My e-mail is [email protected].

Please give detailed explanations on how to reproduce bugs.  More information is better than less.

If people start out reading this thread, there will be less repeat bug reports, and it will be easier for everyone to read this thread.

Thanks.

I think the influence resets after each UP vote.

Influence points would reset after the UP vote, but the actual influence in the sector shouldn't.  The influence would have to get pretty high to overflow and get reset to zero, but I'll check it out.

Thanks for checking it out. Please let me know what you find because it's not the first time it's happened (just the first time I had the sense enough to report it). :notsure:

When you have multiple survey ships on auto they often end up going to the same spot, thus being horribly inefficient. Is there any way to fix this? Manually searching on large+ maps is brutal.

Yes, there is, but I haven't found an efficient way to do it. I started to fix this once, but it was slow. So it's on the back burner for awhile.

Could you not pass the currents ships target into a counter, just adding a counter for each ship (no player has hundreds, i hope :)) then when the next survey ship needs a target just check through the global counters first, if the current ship hits the same target let it go back to re-selecting a target, if no targets then the ship becomes idle?

I had a fundamentalist event which converted *ALL* of my planets. A simple reload of the autosave got me back on track, but that was astonishing. :SURPRISED:

Do they have a corresponding event for good civs? It would seem unfair to handicap an evil empire... or is it that evil empires already get a lot of breaks because consistently choosing evil choices put you way ahead of the game to begin with?

I am pretty sure the I-League is an equal opportunity planet stealer. :)

Being evil provides plenty of benefits compared to being good, so I don't think the Fundies unbalance the game.
