right click menu appearance at startup

why

Couldn't find a 'right-click' section, so here goes...

Can anyone tell me where right click starts from? I have found it in 'Startup (user)' but I can't find it anywhere else. The reason I ask is that when I boot up, the right click 'edit desktop menus' window shows up. I can duplicate that by trying to start right click again, so RC must be starting twice on boot up, but I can't find the second location. I don't use the MCP (that I know of) It's not set to start in the SDC options menu.

Thanks

WW

Seems to be a bug with the latest version. Unload RC, and restart it, and it'll do the same thing.

hmm, ok. Thanks again Koasati. Who's the lead for RC? I'll drop him an email (or her...sorry)

Jeff Bargmann. It's been reported in the newsgroup, but an email confirming the prob can't hurt.

There's a solution!

Get the properties of the shortcut in the startup folder and add a commandline parameter '-startup'

It'll now start quietly and discreetly

If it's in "Startup (User)" (I assume that referring to the startup folder under your login?) then it means it will only start up when you log in. If you put it in "Startup (All Users)" then it will start up for whoever logs in.

LOL

Chris TH, I went there to add that and, much to my surprise, it's already there. I killed right click and then started it again, no menu. I rebooted and the menu showed up. Strange.
