Well, as a mom I want to ask that you get rid of all the very naked chics appearing in the wallpaper section...but as a wincustomise junkie I understand and appreciate that stardock and wincustomise allow us to be creative and to customise our computers however we all dang well please. So, I propose a compromise: Can you make a seperate category altogether for that kind of thing so that those of us who don't wish to see it (or for any of our family or children to see it) don't have to as we browse the wallpapers? Naked Wallpapers. The new category, eh?

Kenwas, do what you do best and let Jafo and the other admins decide if it will be moderated. That wall, without the vulnerability of the lady (made more vulnerable by the no clothes thing) is not the same. Keep up the Great Art and don't change a thing.

Hey people the suggestion is good. If this site were to add a section for "naked" wallpapers it would be easier for people like me to find them and use them. For the people that dont like nudity they can avoid the " naked " section.

I respectfully disagree (if you're serious). Some great art has a bit of Nudity that souldn't be put in with a mass of peak-a-boo shots of Paris Hilton. Just my opinion.

Just for the record, I agree. Wincustomise is professional and clean. That's what made me question the sudden "topless" nudity in the first place.

I don't agree with it, but I respect the opinions of other members...well, at least most of them.

Kenwas, your work is awesome. If it was up to a vote, I'd vote no for that particular post, but I do hope you continue your work and your posts.

besides.... its not even a real woman, its digital.... I dont think 3d figures can be considered nudity... just an opinion though

Latin...a photograph, drawing, painting, 3D computer generation are ALL not 'real women'.

The issue is with the depiction/representation....and also context.

'nudity' relates to the depiction/instance of the unclothed human form, [that includes males, btw]

There's an example of 'nudity'....sufficiently subtle not to be an issue...

just for the record, my nick has nothing to do with a state of undress. there's a time and place for everything, and in front of my puter isn't one of them, just as wincustomize is not the place for naked ladies. no, i'm not a prude, as i admire the beauty of the female form as much as any other red blooded guy, but there's other places for that and i come here for themes and skins to customise my puter. however, the work of kenwas is not nudity by any stretch of the imagination, just a depiction of the female form which couldn't be considered offensive or lewd. I suppose now that i'll throw the cat amongst the pigeons. I note there is no mention at all of the DX nude desktop theme, which is a little more graphic than kenwas' wall, yet still a depiction, hardly offensive, and unlikely to corrupt or influence a child towards obscenities. still, as to a section for naked walls, i don't come here for that and say no to the idea. for those who want to be titillated, there's a wealth of sites on the net for that, but not here. furthermore, starkers refers not to the brit term for nakedness, but is a combination of parts of my christian and surnames. now goodnight, i'm off to the playboy site, lol

Whats the current stance with this?

I notice that Vampothika has some simmalar scale of artistic nudity (ie boobage only) to some of my other artwork I would love to include here.

I've witheld from uploading it in the past because I fear the world wasnt ready for it yet.

Could you point out which Wall you are referring to, I have not seen any naked posts on Wall papers. Would you also ban those that posted it to screen shots. This is a path Stardock should not get on this path. Censor your household, that is your privileged IMHO America is to up tight about sexuality.

There are actually a few.  Possably a bit of nipple showing or bare bum, but nothing else. 

My question is, what is the sites "stand" on it at the moment.  As I have some art I'd love to share, but I'd like to know (in simple termes) what the bounderys are.

Nudity, Violence and Pornography
This is a slightly difficult topic, but as a general rules artwork containing male or female frontal nudity will be not accepted. We can occasionally bend this rule if the artwork is truly exceptional and if the nudity it contains is only an element of the artwork, not the subject in itself. No artwork making the promotion of violence or explicitly representing images of death, blood or physical harm will be accepted. Will also be rejected any artwork promoting discrimination, prejudice or any form of disrespect to any ethnic, religious or gender group.

All wallpapers uploaded to WC (excluding Journeyman level and above) are moderated. A determination will be made at the time of moderation if the upload meets these guidelines.
