StyleXP 3.0 beta released

cursors not supported but....

I know that most of us, myself included, don't use this program, but I do keep track of its development. On Jan 14, the beta of 3.0 was released, one of the major upgrades being the support of cursors, specifically the .cursorxp file format. Isn't that the format used by Cursorxp? I so hope this isn't going to turn into another iconpackager ordeal.

Any news that anyone can share on this?

CursorXP uses the .curxptheme format. I'm not sure what the .cursorxp format is. It could be a mistype or they could be planning to create a new format. I'm not sure though.

They don't have anything that uses CursorXP files at this time though available for download as far as I can tell.

I thought so, as I have been looking thru their changlog, it says to use the cursors, you have to use the icontranslate program. Kind of interesting.

Well we don't know they won't use CursorXP files. That we have to wait and see I guess.
