Installation problem of Suites & Packages

Hi,
I'm not the brightest light bulb in the lamp shop but, I seem to be missing some basic knowledge (yes I have searched the site + seen loads of tutorials = NOTHING).
My problem is after selecting a download, where do I UNZIP/SAVE it to? A single item like wallpaper is a piece of cake but, Suites/Themes are a different kettle of fish to me. I've un-packed them to various folders and it always goes belly-up. Sometimes they un-pack as loads of folders and sub-folders, if I need to move them how do I know what goes where? I have Theme Manager and most of the programs installed. One I don't have is Cursorxp I found it SCREWS UP my pc. I have tried it twice and the only way I could get the machine to run again was to run in 'safe mode' and uninstall Cursorxp.
Not everyone who uses your site is a skin builder, I'm sure there other non experts who would appreciate new user help section.Email

Seeing you said you do have Theme Manager all you have to is simply load your suit in theme manager and theme manager will put it in the proper places.

Cypri, back again,
First I download zip files to the desktop then run Winzip>extract>>(scroll down the tree until I locate Theme Manager)click on Theme Manager for the destination, then click Extract. If it happens to be a Suite I do not see it listed as an available Suite to apply.

Cypri: The themes have to be extracted to your ThemeManager\Themes folder they will not show up if they are just in the ThemeManager folder. Another way would be if you would just rename the zip-file to a suite-file. Double-clicking on it should then install it automatically.

Hello everybody and merry Chrismas. I had to reinstall WinXP and of course ObjectDesktop and IconPacager, etc... and since then, when I install new icons, including icons for MS Office (like Utopia), icons from Office remain by default. Somebody has an idea and or a way to solve this issue ??

can sombody please help me. I just download a theme called Darkzone and i have no idea how to installed it. Can someone please tell me which software i should use

samven582: I searched for Darkzone an it came up with two different themes. One (most likely the one you have got) is a DX-theme and will need DesktopX installed to run https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/ , the other one is a Logon and will need Logonstudio installed https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/
