I need help with a general question

program incompatability

Ok I've just reinstalled Object Desktop once again. Don;t get me wrong I love the program and what it allows me to do with the windows interface. but from day one it has interfered with the dropdown menues in Corel Draw. First tier menuse work fine, byt it's the second tier menues that fail to respond to the the mouse. Now all I have done is download and installed all of the compenets to object desktop but do not have anything running in the taskbar other than IconXP and object dock. What I would like to know is how do I exclude Corel Draw from being affected by the mere installation of Object Dock. I totally would understand window blinds or window fx affecting the program but they are not running as far as I know.

I don't see how ObjectDock, or IconX could affect dropdown menus......
Are you sure WindowBlinds isn't running?
If you unload ObjectDock, does the problem go away? What about IconX, if you unload that is the problem still there?

the problem showed up after installing stardock central and installing the available downloads. I have gone into window blinds and excluded Corel Draw to no avail but I'll just try unloading object dock and IconX

Ok I now have nothing running from the Object Dock suite other than Star Dock Central and I still have the same situation in Corel Draw 12. this problem with the secendary menus has been an issue from day one of using Object Desktop. I have yet to find out what is interfereing or how the fix it. If it's a regestry entry I have no clue as to what to look for. Nor am I aware of and INI string in Corel Draw that can fix this situation. Just so we fully understand the situation the secondary menus will open only if I use the enter or the short cut keys once I have the submenu highlighted. This may seem like a small gripe but it is frustrating when this appears to be the only glich, but I work in Corel Draw about as much as I work in Adobe CS. And having to hit additional keys gets to be quite the pain.

You should probably contact [email protected].
This would be quite frustrating to me also.
