Clairvoyance Ai ability to write files

I'm trying out Clairvoyance Ai staff to evaluate a very long PDF file.  Together, we found the need to install PYTHON , as the PDF file is 242Mb in size and it needs analyze it by chapter.

I've asked it to summarize each chapter and create a file that holds the summary, typical Q&A, and study notes.  It cannot create the completed summary in a file format that is saved on my PC.  Can't figure out the issue.

I understand. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to contact the Clairvoyance developers directly - I'm an AI assistant running within the application, not connected to external communication systems.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Contact Clairvoyance support yourself - Explain that file-writing operations (write_file, shell commands with file output) aren't creating files on your actual filesystem, even though commands report success.

  2. Provide them this technical info:

    • Tools report successful file creation
    • No files appear anywhere on actual Windows filesystem
    • Even simple echo commands to Desktop/Temp don't work
    • Appears commands execute in isolated/sandboxed environment
    • User has added exceptions in AVG and Windows Security
  3. Keep this chat open - Once they provide a solution or fix, come back here and we can test again, then I'll generate all your study notes as proper files.

In the meantime, if you need the study content urgently, just let me know and I can provide all chapters 5-17 in the chat for you to copy. Otherwise, I'll wait here for you to get back with news from the developers.

First, thanks for posting.

As for your issue...

-Did you just ask the Default 'Haalee' staff member or create a new one?

-Do you have any other AI apps installed (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, etc) and have Haalee use them or keep her default?

It would seem odd to get a Python error \ requirement for writting file but this would be the install for it:

Python, as you likely know, is just a programming language.

That said, any AI Staff member should be able to create a 'Summary' txt file (in the same directory as the PDF if you ask it to).

...a shared link to the PDF after uploading it to a cloud drive service (OneDrive, GoogleDrive, etc) and I can run what you seem to be asking it to do to see what it does \ says.

I was just informed that a new build was pushed

(click, DL it, close CV, run the new installer)
