Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure on your issue. What actually don't work. But, do know that Multiplicity 4 don't have KVM function it it. For KVM you will need Multiplicity 4 Pro, perhaps, that is why you see those "Red Pro" appeared.

If it is not KVM connection, and, just for Seamless connection, perhaps, it is a connection issue. For connection issue, please refer to this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1287946260/Multiplicity+Connection+issues+101

Your site says I should be able to drag and drop files between computers. How do I do that if I can't move the cursor to the other computer. I bout Object Desktop which includes multiplicity. So what does the non-pro version of multiplicity if I can't move the cursor to the secondary cursor and do things?

If you only Multiplicity 4 non Pro version. You can not do the Drag drop as mention here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1287454780/Multiplicity+Drag-drop+Copy-Paste+Issues.

Also, to make sure you understand the difference between Multiplicity Seamless vs KVM, please refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1287815196/Multiplicity+Seamless+vs+KVM+confusion.

I got multiplicity as part of object desktop that I purchased. On the object desktop page it says I can control two computers. The computers are side by side. I cannot control anything on either except with it's own mouse, etc. Hovering over the multiplicity icon in the tray says that multiplicity is "disconnected". How do I get it connected? Then maybe it will do something.

Where do ii get support for this product?  What is the support phone number? What versioy of multiplicity comes as part of object desktop? Why does it say that I can control another computer if the cursor will not move from one computer to the other.

WHERE IS SUPPORT?

WHERE IS SUPPORT?

You've been getting initial support from basj, the Community Support Assistant.

He asked you to understand:

You haven't answered which version you have.

He also asked you to understand the differences between the versions of Multiplicity so you'd know what to expect.

It seems perfectly reasonable for him to ask you to do these things so why not go with the flow. He wants to help you. Please do as he asks...it isn't as if he's asking you to read "War and Peace".

What is the support phone number?

Support doesn't work that way. Basic Support is given by basj. Should he feel he's exhausted the help he's qualified to give, he'll instruct you how to submit a Support ticket.

So, please aid basj in giving you the support you want. :)

as for pro, I have whatever is available when purchasing object desktop and downloading from there. Everything was working fine with multiplicity until I bought object desktop and downloaded and installed multiplicity on my new computer. now the multiplicity icon in the tray says disconnected. seems to me that's the problem.

Hello again,

If you have Object Desktop it is only the basic one which is Multiplicity 4, the none pro one. If you wish to have the Pro functionality you will need to purchase/upgrade to the Pro version.

For how to actually use Multiplicity 4. Please use this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1326874625/Multiplicity.

doesn't the fact that the icon in the tray on the primary computer says disconnected mean anytning? How do I get it CONNECTED?

I didn't see anything at the link you sent that was helpful. What is it I'm supposed to read

How about telling me what Multiplicity without pro is supposed to do.

Apparently it can't control another computer which is what I read it is advertised to do.

so what CAN it do?

Please refer to this chart on what Multiplicity 4 can do vs Multiplicity 4 pro and above. (Replaced chart with a newer one)

the above says i should be able to drag and drop without pro. you told me i couldn't do that without pro. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO GET PRO IF THAT WAS TRUE.  the link in the first email shows screens that do not exist. they are probably for the prwevious  ersion of this software.

when i try to hook to another computer i get a message saying there are no secondary computers. the other is connected to the same netwsork and is 6 inches away from the primary computer. i just got a new computer sand this worked fine until i spent the money to upgrade to the new version 5.

Is there no way to SPEAK to a human about this. this is ridiculous. I've spent a whole day on this and it still doesn't work. I want to speak to asupervisor.

Unfortunately, there is no direct voice support. Stardock does its support via its forum. For the rest of your queries, I have forwarded it to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience. Thank you.

The forums are where support is provided for usage questions like yours.

Quoting jrj3, reply 7

as for pro, I have whatever is available when purchasing object desktop and downloading from there.

That is the base version that does not allow for drag and drop but does allow for copy \ paste.

This was already provided and solves 99% of connection issues:

That is the core problem; again, the link above, if followed exactly, will very likely help you.

That would be me...

If you follow that link for connection issues, tell me what errors you are still getting and we will go from there.
