Trouble creating wondow

from Stardock Forums

I've used Stardock for some years, and have a half dozen stardock windows on my desktop. This morning I tried to create a new one. I drew a rectangle, and all I got back was a list of options, none of which had anything to do with creating a Stardock window. How do I create a new stardocks window on my desktop?>

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure what you mean on Stardock, are you referring to Stardock Fences? If so need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Stardock Fences full version number.
  3. Post a Screenshot of list of options that show up when you drew a rectangle.

After rebooting and a few other things I discovered there is a significant delay between the time you draw a box on the screen and a dropdown appears with choices. As long as I wait for that things seem to work.

It might help if you say "draw a box with the left-mouse button" since it's not the case that that's always the way to "draw a box." Draw a box with the right button you get an instant response from the operating system.

You are referring to Fences, yes?

You can use this setting to change how you create the Fences box.
