Object desktop without subscription

Hello

I have been using Fences for a long time.
I have often wanted to upgrade or switch to Object Desktop.
On the Stardock homepage it says something about 1 year subscription, in the description one year of support.
Do I have to pay again to be able to continue using the software after a year?
As I don't buy a subscription model for software in principle, I would only be interested in a one-time purchase.
