Update Notification Pop-ups...

Greetings, I am an avid gamer and I thought Stardock would know that or at least guess it.
Well, it seems they actually hate gamers, let me explain;  Playing a Full-screen game on your main monitor, Should be a pretty good indicator that that window SHOULD NOT be interrupted, however, that is actually NOT the case, regarding Stardock software update notifications.  They seem to pick a time when you are fighting a uber boss or in a romantic interlude.

Well, it needs to stop yesterday!!

Three times in the last few days these pop-ups have interrupted my New World adventures {please don't judge me, I like it and you don't have to, but we can still be friends]  It's Annoying once, very irritating twice, and Postal inducing the third time!!!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, need to know if the popups from Stardock Object Desktop manager or from Stardock standalone product? Such as Fences, Start11, Groupy etc?

Thanks

In properties for your game go to update and set the second section to "Never allow background downloads"

I have done this for all my games and I never have your problem.

Setting the Apps/ games to only load on start-up should also help.

As for your initial "Stardock must hate their gamers" you could not be more wrong they are one of the best if not best in the industry at communicating and interacting with their customers.

I apologize for this super late reply, however, I have been in the hospital for extended stays, recently.

To answer your question, the pop-ups for updated software have been for "Start10", "Fences" & "Multiplicity".

Howdy, I think you misunderstood some of my post.
It is not my Games that are popping up notifications, It is actually SD software that I have installed, that notifies me of updates when I have a Full-Screen game running.

Do you have Object desktop Manager installed and running in the background always? If you do, you can disable ObjectDesktop manager update check.

Thank you,
