Start menu replacement

Hi,

Trying to bend W10 to my will I was wondering if there is somewhere a stardock's RightClick alternative ?

I have an old V1.3 enhanced working with some minor issue like eating windows right click. It seems to have been discontinued long ago, so do you guys know alternatives ?

Hello,

From what I know there is none, but, someone else might come along and suggest something.

Thanks

charlene, you can try Right Click Enhancer.

You can read about it here: https://www.rbsoft.org/index.html

Thanks for the replies !

Nextstart was a good one, the issue is it being part of a suite I don't need : I used two very handy launchers

  • The abandonnedware Pointix PopMouse. I've used it since XP, still works with W10, allowing to pop-up various ressources like pre difined panels with user defined shortcuts or user defined menus/submenus, with clockwised/counterclockwised mouse movements or horizontal/vertical ones. You can also assign windows actions like minimize, close wondows/document, go to the end of a document, etc... The only draw back is the era it was designed, graphix parts are basic. For instance, all menus share the same icon.

  • For rare programs not allowing it to launch them, like lightworks, I use a long ago discontinuated alternative, a bit more graphic, the freeware Mouse Extender.

The goal was to prevent the need sometimes to go to start menu. I think i'll try to throw RightClick in the middle  and design a suitable dark mode skin for it.

How about a dock? Nexus (Standalone by Winstep) or MyDockFinder (Steam) are pretty good ones.
