Quoting Neil Banfield,

Windows 11 22H2 OS Build 22621.1343

Windows 22621.1343 is not an Insider Preview, it is final since 22.02.2023 ;)

It is in the Insiders release preview channel...

  • Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.1574)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
    • Set on taskbar position to top
    • Click on action center/notification center area, aka the network & sound icon next to the clock.
    • The action center interface is cut off. Sometimes it even opens on the very bottom right of the screen (again with the taskbar still positioned at the top).
    • I do not have any other customization software installed. Start11 is the only thing I have installed.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can not reproduce your issue. Would like to recommend you upgrade to latest Windows 11 version 22H2.

Thanks

If you are using the insider preview build 22621 specifically rather than 22623/25300 then you can mitigate some of the issues by creating a registry key here "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8" called CompatBug1 of type String and giving it a value of 1

This will make Start11 treat that 22621 build as 22623 and higher which are the builds which during the earlier beta process had the new taskbar.  As it has been back ported to an earlier build number this has confused Start11 a little.

A newer build without the limitations the above will have (no textures, blur control, alpha control or experimental centre mode) should be available before release.

Unfortunately one of the risks of using prerelease software is compatibility issues.

Unfortunately, the registry hack does not work, if you set it, the taskbar is completely opaque and the transparency level slider has now no effect.

Thats correct.  As I noted above it will have no textures, blur control, alpha control or the experimental centre mode.  But it will make everything else work ok.

Okay, but that's a pity. I was until the day before yesterday on the beta 22623.1325 and there everything still went. Now after installing the 22621.1343 I have these problems. Can it be that Start11/CompatBug1 simply deactivates too much and simply 22621.1343 would have to be treated exactly the same as the 22623.1325. There it was already the new taskbar and that could be adjusted without errors.
