Explorer folder bar background

When changing system colors with WB11, the color of the explorer folder bar background will not change to a color different from the explorer background. I have tried several skins.

This worked with WB10.

That has been pointed out in the beta feedback threads.  I don't know if it is something they can change, but they are aware.

Sorry if i am behind, but with WB11 we can no longer change the Explorer Background colour like we could in WB 10?.

Every single skin i use i do this too it as do not like none black backgrounds, old eyes, well this is a step backwards.

Hi Naroon1

I believe, based on communicating with them through a ticket, they are asking about a "split background" explorer window option that went away when Microsoft introduced Light/Dark mode (if my info is correct), where the left side is one background color and the right another.

NOT that it can't have any background color at all, it can.

I know I posted this in the beta thread but here is a picture of said issue with windows 11. It obviously is pulling that color from Wb settings and rendering it in the folderbar, just not in the center of it. You can see it rendered on the left and right side. There has to be a way for you guys to get it working. With native windows modded msstyle you can change it so I dont see why WB cant.

I could see the panic in your post!   lol

I had to check with Danioc to get a lesson in "the history of WindowBlinds" to be able to respond to you correctly, but I wanted to do it as quickly as possible :)

I Thought my time as a Windowblind user was over for a moment there, been using the Prog since XP and have shouted how good it is from the rooftops ever since. For me its about The Start Menu (that is what draws me in) , then like many of us, i change text colour and Explorer Backgrounds so they contrast and stick out, so background always black then text any of these, Blue, Red, Orange, etc so it all stands out. I appreciate the fast response.

Thanks for the clarity Paul, i guess i am still here for the ride.
