Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more information.

1) Windows version numbers, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Windowblinds version.

3) Is the issue happening on certain theme/s? If yes, please list down some of the themes here.

Thanks

Since microsoft isn't supporting 7 anymore, I'm not sure all the skinners still support 7.  Might have some luck contacting the skin author.

Hello,

Since, all other themes work without issue, I believe, as Jim point out above, is best to contact the skin author.

Note : Looking at that theme comment section, you already done that and you already get the answer from the author.

Thank you,

Author here.

As I have skinned "Silpheed" in the same way I have skinned ALL of my other skins for WindowBlinds IT SHOULD by rights work for Windows 7, 8 & 10.

UPDATED WB-skin. Created on Win 10, Should work for 7 & 8 too.

If you prove Purchase I will send the new WB via e-mail.

-There was nothing wrong with the skin, but made a few adjustments that might solve the problem for the FEW win 7 users that experienced it..:cylon:

@ Give me your E-mail and prove purchase, (In PM-PrivateMessage)

At this point it best to have someone else, a third party, test it on their system to verify if the issue is with your system or not. or If you have another pc to test eseeya.

Yes I do, that is why I can't test to verify it. And I am only asking to test it on his own system.

Email me, I'll give it to you.:cylon:  [email protected]

-I am as well Interested to know what is going on -(For SOME ON 7)

Also, can someone on 10 verify it is working as it should.

-I would like to add that I myself have NO issues with it at all, and have skinned it like I always have (There are actually not that many ways you can F**k this up when you have skinned as long as I have)^_^

Saw the Video... -NO, the Startmenue actually doesn't show up... o_O

-WHAT EXACTLY might cause this??? -NEIL BANFIELD would be the one to solve this Mystery.

-Again. I have skinned this to the best of my abilities and I haven't got a clue as to why this ia happening for this one and only skin. -Volition is skinned on the same system and I have not heard about any issues with that skin.:cylon:

-Anyone tried it on Win 8 ??

I decided to go this way, so no one gets into this Piccle.v_v

You can always setup a virtual machine for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 just to test things out. I setup VMware Workstations for my testing. Just my 2 cents.

BTW, I tested Silpheed on Windows 8.1, no issue with  Start8 Startmenu there.

Have you deleted anything manually from the skin folder, Andy? I have had whole sections go screwy because I deleted something I assumed was irrelevant to the skin I was running. Some of these leftover legacy files (labeled .uis.wb4 and such) wouldn't seem to have any relevance to a modern skin, but are like removing the foundation of your house.

It is possible to delete something that didn't effect your win10 with start10 setup, but have an effect on a win7 system......just a thought.

Weeeeelll....I had never seen this and wondered what it was beside the .wba

I never seen this happen before. I have Not removed anything from the skin (on purpouse)

A user should not delete anything from inside a Windowblinds skins folder. The only thing the designer should do before releasing a skin is run the 'Tools, Clean Skin' function in SkinStudio and if there are any leftover images get rid of them, which creates a 'Backup' folder in the skins folder. Then in SkinStudio do a 'File, Open skin folder' and delete or move the 'Backup' folder if you want to keep the images. Also delete the 'Temp' folder. Then create your .wba file.
