Krets WIP

it's a thing

This is a design that I started on a while ago, but left "simmering" in my brain.

Problem is, I know of 2 skinners who have recently done "circuit board" themed skins recently. Then again, this design does differ significantly from the others.

What do you all think?

I would do a version where the label on the processor in the upper right, would be the user pic. The lights on the upper left would be animated (flicker/pulse or something...haven't decided yet) and the "lit" lights by the All Program and Start Button is showing the moseover/pressed/active state.

By the way, "Krets" means Circuit in Norwegian :P

I like it. But the Intel should say AMD.

Got some work done today on the window frames

I'm not done "embellishing", but one has to be careful not to crowd too many things on your frames. It's all got to fit on those small dialog windows as well! Had to change the searchbox as well because it's used on both the windows and the startmenu. The design I had originally does not resize well.

In case anyone is following, I've gotten a lot done. What I've shown previously, has been the draft drawing in Photoshop. Here it is in the build stage.

Still lots to do!

I've changed the text color to white for visibility reasons. I don't mind adding another color to the skin!

Awesome looking skin Tim!

Looking really great Tim, personally though I would change the text to 235 235 235 (#ebebeb), the pure white is a bit too bright I think. Up to you though. :-)

The gray box around the file name (dk_green.png) is connected to the combo boxes which I haven't skinned yet....it will be light green.

You are doing a fantastic job Tim!

Looking good, for green.

I'm pretty much done with the skin. Need to sit on it for a day just to be sure there's no issues....
