Browser issue

I switched to Pale Moon semi-recently because of FF's switch to webEx killing off most of my extensions and being a bad idea in general - I was a FF user because I hate M$ (except for their hardware; I only use Windoze because app support - yes, Wine and Cedega, I know; I just haven't had time to try them nor find a distro I really like, plus I'm suspicious of my HDDs atm), Opera was slow af and Safari was nowhere on extensibility (or was it the other way around? been a long time) when I tried them, and Chrome (which I had switched to a couple of years before because FF had gotten unusably slow on my system) had gotten to be a resource-hog of otherworldly proportions.

I tried to post on this forum both last night and today using PM, and it wouldn't work - after clicking the Submit button, the message subwindow briefly resizes and that's it. Has anyone-else experienced this?

If you liked FF I suggest trying out Brave, it's made by some ex-Mozilla people and has a lot of great features for security/privacy whilst being based on Chromium for compatibility.

As a former Pale Moon fan, I'll second that Brave recommendation.  I don't mess with any of the BAT stuff as that seems a can of worms based on their user forum, but the browser itself is rock solid.

My wife still likes Pale Moon but some sites she uses just don't work on it.

If Brave would expand it's speed dial to more than just 6 shortcuts, I would use it in a heart beat. I got spoiled by the speed dial on Vivaldi and Opera.

Ace, I have 34 favicons visible on the favorites bar, not even full screen.  Wouldn't that serve same purpose?

if your question is about Brave, it's chrome-based so most extensions are supported (or will function).  I only use a few, including LastPass.

Actually, I like it a lot and that should count for something being a FF fan for... forever. Will try this for a while!

Hmm, well, Chrome is hit-and-miss on the extensions I use...did they slim it down any?
