So what in the H#*@ am I supposed to do, to finally get through here??  I've got the fake human, and am trying to get to their homeworld planet, but this is just impossible !!  I'm already inside their planetary system, just a couple of inches from the planet, but I get a CONSTANT stream of ships attacking me, one after another after another.  I can keep my ship alive, but I'm never going to actually reach that damned planet !!!  Was I supposed to have done something else to calm them down before I came here?  Or is there some way to make my ship invisible or something??  This is just craziness...

It has been a while since I did it, so my memory is not fresh, but if I recall correctly there is a point where you can talk to them and accept an offer of dinner.  Send the fake human over to the dinner party and play through the resulting scenes.

Okay, I finally got through that damned hassle... restarted from outside their realm, and poked around until I found a path to their home planet that didn't involve encounters with any of their ships (fortunately, my ship is really fast in hyperspace), had one encounter inside the planetary system, and I fed them one of my crew, just to avoid getting swarmed, then reached the planet and finally got that chore done with.  Still had two fight three more sets of them before I could escape back to that wormhole...

That was miserable...
