Help!/Bug? - Defend Tywom mission

[obviously, spoilers ahead]

 

 

 

Hey, quick question. I'm stuck at the defend Tywom mission. I've done pretty much everything needed, found the wreckage in Sol and at beta chaudray, proved my worth by saving stuff and making allies. All I have left is to talk to the Overmind about the crashed vessel. Just that Trandals don't seem to care. Doesn't matter if I talk with the ones that are on llovren system (the renegades) or the ones that are in Corpus cluster, I just don't have a dialogue option for that.

 

Also, don't know if related - same with greegrox and mu'kay. I don't seem to have an dialogue option of what's the matter with those two. About 17 hours in and I've been flying around for a couple of hours with no progress in those quests :/

 

So, not sure if it's a bug or if I'm talking to the Overmind at some wrong place? I did find the crashed ship at Chaudray pretty early on?

I don't know about the Tywom, but (spoilers) you need to learn how to talk to the Greegrox (talk to their homeworld) then let the Mu'Kay know for the Mu'Kay to realize they are sentient and stop eating them.

That's pretty much what I did. The Greegrox are only saying "yingying, not gonna talk to you until this this is sorted out" (I think you refer their homeworld as where the Ancient one is?), and the Mu'kay aren't reacting in any way via dialogue to the problem.

I'll retrace my steps once more and see if I can figure something out.

You can't have a Mu'Kay ship in your fleet when talking to the Greegrox or they say they won't talk to murderers.

Right, that was weird.

 

Even though I had the objectives "Talk with the Overmind about the ship found in.." as yet-to-be-done, I had already done it as I thought. So completing the mu'kay - greegrox conondrum set the parameters in a way that I could continue the other Quest as well.

Not sure what happened, but the Quest Log didn't reflect on what I was supposed to (or could) do and I didn't have the dialogue options for them. 

Just a heads up if anyone else encounters this.
