[BUG] gamepad controllers

The dead zone on the controllers is not big enough, or needs to be adjustable , I constantly suffer drift on maps and menus making reading and selecting very difficult. I think this may also be interfering with auto pilot on saves not resuming lately.

If you select fill me up for fuel before buying landers the game pad will not be able to pick landers at all, I end up having to use the mouse.

Yep, there are many issues with using a gampad.  I've switched to using a Steam Controller and using the default community config for it.

Much better user experience.

Default behavior with the Steam Deck is poor.

I'd like to second the issue with the Steam Deck.  Seems like it's a perfect game for the Deck - if it makes sense, could you please update it for compatibility.  This might be more of a pain than it's worth, so if you can't, no worries.  Very happy with the game already.
