One thing that would be nice...if the Starmap would put some sort of icon next to stars we've already visited, just so we're not doubling back on our tracks too much.

Hmm.  You know that's a very interesting idea.  I'll pass that on. There may be subtle ways to do that.

Been re-playing UQM lately and, like, the whole, "Have I been there yet?" factor is...high. Heh.

ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Or, hey...maybe some sort of encyclopedia or almanac that gets built as you travel? So it's like, "Yup, been there...and here's what I saw while I was taking the tour!"

 

...but that might be rather more work than just indicating where you've been. Still, this is ideas and wishes; no harm done sayin' it, right? :)
