Ultimate edition has no audio

I own this game on steam. And when I run it, there is no audio whatsoever.

I've reinstalled the game, updated audio drivers, and ran the game as administrator without luck.

If I run the dread lords executable I have audio normally.

I'm running out of ideas and google is not much help.

It's super dead. I ended up figuring out my issue. For some reason the ultimate edition doesn't like my USB headset. 3.5mm speakers and headsets work fine with the audio. Not really sure why.
