Lags - not single-core problem (!)

Hy there

I play with a new PC, high end PC, yeah, I know the single-core Problem from Sins of a Solar Empire. THIS IS IT NOT!

Early in the game, the systems stops every 10-15 seconds for 1 second. like a freeze. One second, after it goes on. And this in the cycle 10-15 seconds. I tried to set down the animations, stop soas in the Firewall, get the game a core only for itselfs, nothing helps. Begins after more or less a hour ingame. 

Anyone an idea?

I know the single-core Problem from a earlier time, this is something else, believe me, when I say this.

looks like I did not have enough patience ^^ stop soas in the firewall helps really. next time, I should wait a few minutes more. thx anyway

There can be viruses, clean up the OS!

Perhaps the load goes to the processor from some other program, maybe Windows or Antivirus is updated!

Open the Task Manager, check the load, look at what else loads the processors! Run only one game, see that nothing else is working!

The game uses all 2 GB of memory, then start lags! Perhaps you have standing programs like LAA or 4 GB, then disconnect them, they are no longer needed!
