Question about ObjectDock tabs

Occasionally, and something to do with me with my narrow vision(*) losing sight of the mouse cursor position when I try clicking something, I get one of my many ObjectDock tabs separated on screen.
Everything still works, but I want all the tabs back in one bar.
Occasionally I can move it into a position where it does merge back into the main bar, but today I just don't seem to be able to do it. There's no right-click "position" option to merge it into an existing bar, but there MUST be a way of doing it, as I've managed to do it before -- though it took a lot of trying.
So my request here is really simple: how do I do it? What is the proper way?
If it is in documentation somewhere then, sorry, but I've not found it.
