Beta crashes/freezes

Hello, first time posting here. Played Ur-Quan Masters and loved the game. So, I just bought the game and installed the beta, and any option from the menu I try to use first freezes the game for like 10 seconds and then the game crashes (even if I click exit). I'm launching the game from Steam and my PC has an intel i-5 750 proccesor, 8GB memory, and a nvidia 1070 gpu, windows 7 OS. If I can help with any feedback no problem.

Well you seem meet the system requirements.

Here is a general troubleshooting guide. I suggest you check if your drivers are up to date and see your virtual memory settings.

Thanks! It's now working fine, I believe it was either issues with directx and/or vcredist.
