Quest name: Scryve defectors
Short description
A group of Scryve have decided to leave the Empire and would need the players help to find a new planet on which to establish a colony.
Acquisition
From one of the Scryve colonies. Perhaps proof of the declining state of the empire would be necessary to initiate quest.
Longer description
After the story has advanced somewhat the inhabitants of a Scryve colony would be fed up with the wars, declining state of the empire and their offspring being conscripted into wars they are kept in the dark about.
They would request the player find them suitable planet for habitation, far away from the Scryve Empire and not under the influence of another species. Where they could start over their lives
Two paths open up, either find a planet or contact the Phamysht to deliver the Scryve ships to them, no points for guessing what the Phamysht are cooking up.
Regardless of the choice the player returns to the colony and receives a number of ships, on which the initial settlers of the new colony would board, the others would slowly travel there after establishing the settlement.
Aliens will react differently to the player because of the presence of the Scryve ships. See bellow.
Rewards will differ based on the path taken. Basically delivering the defectors to a planet will net a ship, some resources and lore information. While delivering them to the Phamysht will get a bigger reward of resources.
If delivered to the planet, the inhabitants of the colony would slowly move until the colony is eventually depleted.
On the other hand if they are delivered to the Phamysht they would not be very happy with the player.
Events/flags
- Locate Scryve colony from which quest is received
- Locate suitable planet for Scryve colonists, must be habitable for Scryve and not under the influence of another alien species
- Go to the Phamysht homeworld and inform them you could deliver some Scryve takeout
- Receive 5 Scryve freighters and 1 battleship in fleet to escort to suitable planet
- Result
- Deliver ships to planet -> reward based on how many ships survive
- After some in-game months the entire population of the colony would move to the new planet
- Deliver ships to Phamysht -> reward based on how many ships are gifted to Phamysth, battleship would try to retaliate
- If player returns to colony after this choice they will be attacked on sight
- All Scryve ships lost in battle -> Quest failed
Interactions with other aliens
With the Scryve ships in your fleet alien species would react differently when encountered.

- Phamyth, unless agreed to surrender a Scryve ship, the defectors won't like this
- Pinthi, unless relationship at high level, tehn they would refuse to communicate

After the ships are delivered conversations would go back to normal. If you have the battleship in your fleet, Scryve ship captains might comment on how you will be destroyed for stealing one of their ships.
Reward
- deliver ships to planet
- all ships survived -> receive battleship with some crew + RU
- other -> RU based on number of ships, 100 per ship
- also Scryve might be willing to share some information on the state of empire, would not be fully aware of current events, but poses information of the Empire's past
- deliver ships to Phamysht -> Scryve battleship will initiate battle, RU based on number of ships, 200 per ship
