So I was thinking about SCO and something popped up in my head.
The Arilou are the explanation to Roswell and the ancient alien conspiracies, So how do you explain the absence of them?
Stardock have made the Star Control Multiverse where SC:O runs in a different universe than the original SC1 and 2. Different aliens and events exist in the SC:O universe, perhaps Roswell never even happened?
I guess, but this is space adventure chocked full of lore, all it takes is one person asking about Roswell.
My guess would be to mention Roswell and then declare the whole thing a hoax, but that not everyone believes that, in homage to reality and the Arilou who I'm still trying to wrap my head around.
Who says that Arilou where not in Origin Earth either? They are, after all, in separate space.
Of course, that does not mean that they are part of the story.
In SC2, they intervened, since their considered Ur-Quan too big threat at that time. Otherwise, they would still stay hidden.
All they care about is the Humans being safe, if the Scryve are truly a threat, then they will appear, but since we know they won't, that probably means the Scryve are pushovers who the Arilou believe we will have no problem taking out.
After all, Humans are phenomenally resourceful species.
Arliou (and possibly Orz) are the species that should be a staple that should be a common factor in all the "official" universe projects. Even if it's just rumors of them and they're not seen on screen.
