Customization of "POST"

when there is nothing else left to customize

I have always loved to customize everything I own, and my PC is no exception with a boat load of customizations

including,

*wallpapers

*icons

*GUI-themes

*cursurs

*custom sounds

*logon screens

*boot screens

*custom start menus

*rainmeter

*Stardock(object dock, desk scapes, fences, window fx, ect.)

Yes I am a Custom-JUNKIE, and as far as I can see the only thing left to customize is my "post" screen. I was unable to find anything to help me do so on google, So I came here to ask the comunity... Can it be done?

I would like to customize my post screen(before bootscreen) with custom text in a custom colour, and if possible change\remove the "american megatrends" logo in the top right corner.

Is this even possible\legal

thanks in advance.

Pretty well everything can be customized.... even good old dos could be changed to use different cursors etc.

It all got quite 'silly' when ways were found to customize the 'bsod' .....blue was just so 'yesterday'.....i kinda liked the colour 'ultramarine'....cos 'usod' had much more meaning....;)

If you are talking about your system BIOS boot screen, it could be changed at HUGE expense I suppose by your manufacturer, so you could contact them.

What motherboard, my last 3 Asus boards had/have a option to change the POST splash screen, it is just a simple image insert.

Interesting,  did not know anyone was doing something like that.

Yup, my ASUS board has the same option. Just never interested in trying it out haha.
