As you notice there are some new buttons available on the message boards.

Quote: This allows you to quote someones message for when you want to reply to them. Highlight the text you wish to quote and click on the "Q" image. This will copy the text and quote into the reply text area.

Watch List: Click this button to have an email sent to you when a thread has been updated since you last read it.

Edit: Only available to Apprentices and up and User Level 3 and up. You can only edit your post within 15 minutes of its creation time.

Search: Look at the top, there is a field for you to search the message boards. This only searchs the Title of the threads and the author name.

Show All My Posts Link: Lists all the posts you have made

Show My Watch Lists: Show the posts that you are currently watching

When listing the main thread lists it now displays 50 at a time and allows you to page through them instead of displaying message that are X days old.

/me wonders if we might eventually get a search in thread function?

once a thread passes 1 page, sometimes it can be slow to find the specific point you want to follow up / quote. so, an ability to search within the current thread would be nice.

I second feline's suggestion. I have learned a lot about a number of different things on this board, and it would be nice to be able to search for (i.e.) "Mac icons" to find an old thread.

Since this thread won't go away I guess I'll have to use it... lol

Don't know if anyone noticed but for the first time in over a year the member profile page screenshots are able to be zoomed

Um... how can I unwatch the watch list. Currently there are four there and only one said I could unwatch it, and I tried, but they are still there! I come often enough to see the posts, and I am getting lots of messages in my in box.

Hey, shouldn't it be nice if there was a header on the message board with "last responded", and you can see who was the last who answered on the threat....

I just love all the new features especially the quote button!!
It is much more fun and interesting to be on the message-board these days!!

being notified when a thread im interested in is responded to is WONDERFUL!!!!

I too tho would like to see , in the future and as time allows, the ability for the search function to see into threads as well as titles. I'm paitent tho and the current changes are definitly move in right direction.
