Probably will get it on December 30-31st, like the previous updates have come in.
Stardock has a history of ignoring international events and holidays. Expect them to release on the day, on the hour, as they have always done

because of Christmas and New Year's being so close, I think we are probably going to get it late because Stardock does close for the holidays. 100% not on New Year's eve at least.
So we pay through the nose for their christmas dinners and we don't get any holiday love in return for it?

It is from Stardock's perspective when nobody will be in the office between those dates.

latest for 2016 is tomorrow (which I HIGHLY doubt). Stardock is closed after that until the second. So, if not today, the third is when we get the December update. For this info, look at the note at the top of the thread where it says they're closed for the holidays.

It hasn't happened. Atleast they could've told us, with the new producer, vaelzad and frogboy on these forums.
Then again, as a Star Control fan I'm probably likely to get disappointed often 
Or you could be patient and expect it late. Iirc, it was late last year too. Yeah, looking through my downloads, there was no December package, unless I'm missing one. Oh, wait, there was a background last year, but that was it. There doesn't necessarily need to be a download every month.
The only thing they needed to do was tell when it wasn't going to come .
I mean, they never explicitly said there WOULD be a December update either.
Just checked and confirmed no Dec 2015 folder. If anything is posted (which I doubt) it will be Dec 31 or Jan 3. December is a total wash in a lot of places. Stat days off, and a rush to empty your vacation bank before the end of the year (I still have 14 unused days so HR is going to be pissy) means not a lot getting done.
The December update will be posted on the third as that is when they open the offices again. Nobody is going to be in the office on new year's eve. Probably may be delayed as we are supposed to be getting the first alpha builds by then
yeah, kinda like when you go to a drive-in restaurant, wait 2 hours for your food, and then they tell you 'even though you already paid, we didn't promise you would receive your food in less than 2 hours..'
Actually, the Founder's program doesn't state that there will be a monthly update, just that we'll get in-depth, early access behind the scenes info periodically. Ideally, it's every month, but sometimes that's not the case. I'm pretty sure there was another month without an update (I'm drawing a blank, but I know it happened once or twice). We didn't pay for monthly updates, brotato. We paid to be first.
I don't care at all about monthly updates happening or not, I just want to be informed about whether they are happening or not. Takes 5 minutes of that fancy producer's time to write up the schedule or to answer my question.
So to clarify, I just want better communication, not them adhering to a regular schedule .
